Baltimore 12, 13-year-old boys arrested for allegedly stealing car from body shop

Baltimore police took two boys, ages 12 and 13, into custody after they allegedly tried to steal a car or truck from a overall body shop.

The juveniles entered the garden of a overall body store in the 100 block of South Warwick Avenue in Baltimore’s Carrollton Ridge community, on the southwestern facet of the town.

“As soon as within the property, the juveniles worked in live performance to steal a car,” the Baltimore Law enforcement Division (BPD) wrote in a Thursday press launch posted to Facebook. “A person juvenile broke the motor vehicle window and begun to push away, ramming another auto [i]n the yard blocking the exit. The two boys went on to travel “recklessly” close to the Southwest District, “drawing the notice of citizens that noted looking at a suspicious automobile in the region.” They ultimately struck a civilian vehicle.

A BPD helicopter assisted the officers with the department’s Regional Auto Theft Taskforce to locate the stolen car “that finally drove into Baltimore County and crashed in the 4300 block of Southwestern Boulevard.”
