Houston crime: Man fires gun after witnessing 3 men break into his car in Memorial Park, HPD says

Houston police reported they were being already in the park space when the guy confronted the suspects, and were ready to answer to the scene in just seconds.

The person advised law enforcement he witnessed 3 men breaking into his car or truck all over 9:45 p.m. He mentioned he confronted the 3 guys, and when 1 of them pulled out a gun, he pulled out his far too.

ABC13 video confirmed damaged glass in the parking great deal in which the man’s car was parked.

He fired just one shot, but didn’t strike the suspects. That is when he reported two of the adult men obtained absent.

When officers arrived at the scene, they were able to just take the 3rd suspect into custody.

Police reported issues could have gone a great deal worse specified the variety of men and women at the park at the time of the capturing.

“Extremely fortuitous. No just one is hurt. We have a suspect in custody,” Lt. M.L. Barrow said. “The park is risk-free. We have acquired a good deal of assets below.”

Police did not present a description of the two wished suspects.
