NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – An affidavit said that a guy who was employed to take care of a woman’s automobile was charged following allegedly making an attempt to hit her with his vehicle following a verbal altercation.
In accordance to an affidavit received by News4, police were being referred to as to a home at 2009 Jones Circle on April 1st just after the resident reported she feared for her everyday living because of to a gentleman who was hired to set a new engine in her car began threatening her.
The sufferer informed law enforcement that she experienced hired Joshua L. Charlton, 35, to swap her motor on Thursday, March 31st. The affidavit mentioned following the target explained to Charlton that she was not glad with his function and fired him, he began sending her text messages threatening to choose her auto right up until she paid out him the overall sum for the position.
Police claimed in the affidavit that 1 of the texts the victim gained from Charlton said, “this is significantly from in excess of.”
Right after becoming fired, Charlton returned to the victim’s household, and a verbal altercation ensued following she caught him attempting to just take the motor out of her car. The affidavit mentioned Charlton remaining in his car or truck but immediately turned all-around, accelerated at a rapid velocity, and drove his car instantly at the sufferer.
The affidavit claimed the victim was capable to get out of the way, and Charlton turned around and drove as a result of her fence.
Police charged Charlton with harassment and Aggravated Assault, and he was booked into the Davidson County Jail.
