A driver who fled the scene of a collision has damaged a shop in Burwell.
The driver of a white Audi crashed in to two parked vehicles which pushed a single into a regional shop.
The effects prompted hurt to the window and wall and turned the other parked motor vehicle 180 levels.
This was a single of two collisions about the weekend (March 26 to 27) wherever motorists fled the scene.
“[They] could have killed another person,” stated a worried resident on social media.
Police reminded followers that that “leaving the scene of an collision is an offence” and “you could deal with prosecution”.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Law enforcement stated: “The driver of this white Audi has strike two parked motor vehicles in Burwell, pushing just one into a nearby shop producing destruction to the window and a wall and turning the other 180 levels.
“This was one of two collisions over the weekend in which the drivers still left the scene.
“Investigations are ongoing to recognize them.
“Recall leaving the scene of an collision is an offence and you could facial area prosecution.”
